10 Things I Want for My Birthday

June 17, 2011

10:48AM

Wow! It's my birthday today. I'm not really a huge fan of presents but since I want to write something on this
"special day", I thought of listing the things I've been wanting to have for a long time. And in the tradition of my
"Tuesday's Ten Whatevers", I picked the ten gifts I would be glad to receive today. Here's my wish-list:

10. An "alter-ego" blog.

Which I actually already have! I made it yesterday and I already started blogging there. Not that I don't want this blog any more, I just thought I want a place where I can spill my heart out other than here in Go Ask Tuesday.

9. Volks® Super Dollfie 13 - Tsukasa Konoe.

I love Tsukasa Konoe! I'm just not sure this particular model faced out already, but pre-owned ones can do! Hehe!

8. Magic 8 Ball.

At number 8 is an 8! Err, a Magic 8 Ball that is! It's kinda rare at the malls I go to.

7. Skateboard.

I used to keep Ralph Jhonel's skateboard named Homer. And since I returned it back to him, my room suddenly is incomplete. Maybe I need a replacement.

6. Fake Skull (or any Anatomical Figures).

Remember the manga series "Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge" a.k.a "Perfect Girl Evolution" a.k.a. "The Wallflower"? Sometimes I want to be Sunako Nakahara; always had an obsession with darkness and a morbid fascination with blood, horror movies, and similarly dark things, hates excessive light exposure and also does poorly in hot weather.

5. GhostGirl series by Tonya Hurley.

L-R: GhostGirl, GhostGirl: Homecoming, GhostGirl: Lovesick.
I already read the ebook version of the first installment, and since then, I started to be a fan.

4. GhostGirl guitar.

Since I love GhostGirl so much, I included this in my wish-list. This is actually a price to a GhostGirl "Lovesick" music video contest.

3. Giniling Festival Makamundo "Bungo" T-Shirt.

Aside from the fact that I'm going to finally meet my idols, the Makamundo "Bungo" T-Shirt is one of the reasons why I am planning to attend to Giniling Festival's Makamundo Part 2 album launch on July 1, at Freedom bar. I'm not sure if they have my size, but whatever size is the smallest, I will buy it anyway.

2. Inuman with "Mga Men" (as if we haven't been drinking a freakin' lot these past weeks!).

This is what I always look forward to whenever my birthdays are approaching. Of course I'm going to spend all the remaining birthdays of my life with them!
(Actually, tinetext na nila ako ngayon uh! Haha!).

1. This Guy.

I don't want to say any more. :)

OK. OK. I know this wish-list is just too ambitious! Haha! Pag-bigyan n'yo na 'ko, birthday ko ngayon eh!

Drinking Marathon: The Adventures of an "It" Girl Who's Always Invited to Parties! LOL!

June 11, 2011
06:47AM

Man, I've been drinking a freakin' lot these past few days! It started last Sunday when Cryptic Illusion celebrated AJ's birthday. AJ texted me at around 9PM, inviting me to come to his party. But I stayed only until 1AM as Jhepmar was already bugging the hell out of me to go spend the night drinking at his place instead. So from AJ's party, I went straight to O'Neal's Billiards where I was to meet up with Jhepmar and Botz. We stayed there for a couple of minutes more and few bottles of Red Horse as they were playing that sort of billiards game I don't understand (I only know 9-balls!). Coincidentally, Windol and Tenga passed by O'Neal's Billiards and we asked them to stay. At 2AM, we went to Jhepmar's house and there we downed bottles after bottles of Colt45. Jhepmar's friends came over and there was a crowd of beer-hungry guys drinking with us until 4AM.

The following Tuesday, Nelson invited me to come to his place. I went there at dinner time and Nelson's dad greeted me at the gate and his mom cooked dinner for us. We ate and chit-chatted, catching up with what's the latest (it's been so long since I last showed up!). Nelson brought me to his cousin's place after dinner where we spent the night drinking Emperador Light with two of his cousins and two other guys. I was supposed to sleep over, but I decided to go home after we went on a food-trip at Ilang-ilang, Guiginto.

As soon as the next day, my hang over wasn't even gone yet, Jhepmar texted me at 1AM saying he's got Colt45 at his house. I had to sneak out as my dad was awake, I managed to go out unnoticed. Thankyouverymuch! There was a storm and the rain was heavy and honestly, I thought I wasn't gonna make it to Jhepmar's place. But I did. So I sat there with Jhepmar and his younger brother, Yhowie. We had real, good laugh-trips over ice-cold beer until 4AM and Yhowie walked me home by Jhepmar's special request (Jhepmar won't let me go home by myself but he was too wasted so he just asked his poor, helpless younger brother to take charge of bringing me home safe and unharmed. Wise guy huh?).

I haven't been drinking in the last two days but I'm not sure about tomorrow. Jhepmar asked me to come again for his girlfriend's birthday bash. And next week's my birthday, there probably will be a new episode of this "Drinking Marathon" series!

I feel so down and lonely..

April 05, 2011
06:50PM

Ok. I stay here in my room the whole day when I am actually supposed to go out and drink with my friends. I cancelled the party today, and now I start to feel lonely. My friends texted to say they're just going to attend another party and the thought of it makes me feel like I was left behind. It's unfair! This is supposed to be my happy day yet I am the one who stays at home, feeling jealous of my friends who are going to enjoy tonight. I should be enjoying too! Man, this is the 5th day of the month. This is my day!

If it is any consolation, I hope Ralph Jhonel bothers to text me to say he's sorry he can't make it tonight. But really, who am I to complain? Besides, it's not his obligation to come here whenever I want him to. Things nowadays are not like how they were like before. He used to always grant my every requests, but it's not like that now. It's depressing.

I told Ralph Jhonel I'd just throw a celebration next month, but honestly, I can't help but feel that same thing will just happen. I know that if I plan yet another party, it will just make me feel badly hurt when it can't take place again. I'm really hurt now, and I don't want to feel this way every month.

I'm still looking forward to seeing Ralph Jhonel again this summer. Even if it's not going to happen on the 5th day of the month. I know it's just a friggin' 5th day, and that what really matters is his existence. But I really feel so down and lonely. I feel like I never ever mattered.

2 Years, 9 Months and Counting!

April 05, 2011
03:12AM

Today, Ralph Jhonel and I turns 2 years and 9 months. But it seems like I'm the only one to celebrate it again. I was actually supposed to throw a little party with mga men but Ralph Jhonel texted earlier to announce he isn't coming home until Friday. It was really depressing! I planned about this monthsary and I even invited few of our friends to come over and then I had to just tell everyone that the celebration is cancelled. I can actually still throw a party if I want to, but not having Ralph Jhonel with us is hardly the same. I mean, it's our monthsary, hello?! We are supposed to celebrate it together, aren't we?

Anyway, I understand. I really, truly do. He can't waste his seemingly precious time to go here and celebrate with us because he is looking for a job. I want him to find one soon, that's why I didn't argue and just understood. I pray that he finds a job even if it means he's going to have yet a friggin' lot more reasons not to show up whenever we have to celebrate something. I know that when the time comes that he finally goes to work, it is going to be impossible for him to spend time with me and all our friends. Let us all groan!

We miss Ralph Jhonel. More than anything, I miss him. I had this little plan to talk to him and look him in the eyes and hold his hands and tell him how much I love him. But it's not gonna happen now, or at least not any time soon. But I promise, the next time I'm going to see Ralph Jhonel again, I'm not going to miss the chance to tell him I love him.

Five Senses

March 11, 2011

10:06AM

1.) The Sense of Sight

"Nasan ka na?" I texted him. He just finished taking pictures of the famous Barasoain Church as I suggested.

"Papunta na ng crossing." he texted back.

Yesterday, I was drowning in excitement for I was going to see him again. He texted me Monday night, saying he's coming to see the Barasoain Church and take its pictures for his project for his Photography class. And last night, he did.

I waited for a while, but it actually felt millenniums. And then, after two sticks of Marlboros, he came. There he was, in the flesh. I could not believe my eyes.

2.) The Sense of Hearing

We were about to go to the Capitol when he suddenly felt like he wanted to take photos of the city's night view from somewhere elevated.

"Saan kaya pwede?" he asked.

I suggested our college building so we walked back and went 3 floors up but the windows are facing the wrong direction and it's impossible to see the city lights. So I brought him at the comfort rooms instead where the little window made him able to capture the view he wanted.

He started working with his camera. I never thought photography takes time. I waited outside the comfort rooms, talking to whoever passes by. Man, I got tired of explaining to every single person trying to use the comfort room why there was a guy with a DSLR inside.

And after a while, there were only the two of us. I waited a bit more.

"Tues, wait lang ha?" he said. I stared at him. He was really there. I heard him call my name again. The way he called my name made me want my name more.

3.) The Sense of Smell

Just before the college closes, he was finally done working at the comfort room and then we headed to the Capitol. We were walking side by side when I suddenly smelled the faint smell of his cologne which kinda wore-off already. I miss him, God knows I did. I was really glad he was right there, inches away. Too close that I managed to smell his cologne. Who would've thought?

4.) The Sense of Touch

He didn't take photos of the sculptures at the Capitol grounds because there were no lights that could've made the sculptures visible in the dark. So he decided to just go home — it was late anyway. We sat next to each other in the jeepney, talking to catch up with things. My God! I longed to be at his side again. I was really, really thankful that the jeepney was jam-packed that I had to force my self to move closer to him. I was leaning back so he didn't see I was staring at him half the trip. I smiled. I fell in love even deeper.

5.) The Sense of Taste

Bittersweet. That's how it was. Sweet because he finally was there; I can see, I can hear, I can smell, I can touch. But bitter because those are only the best I can ever do. But don't get me wrong, I'm very happy that at the very least, he was there. For real. The only person to ever appeal my every senses. The guy that makes me feel my mortality. The one that gives meaning to my life. Ralph Jhonel. The love of my life.

"Thanks Tues." he said before he got out of the jeepney. And then he was out of sight.

I Could Not Believe My Eyes!

February 22, 2011

03:41AM

Oh boy! Ralph Jhonel and I are okay now!

Since the day we worked together on every single Muy Leal article (we did some editing, evaluation and stuff), the distance between me and Ralph Jhonel felt narrower. My twin, Frankie, noticed that drastic change too. Ralph Jhonel texts me every-so-often now just to see how have I been. We exchange messages on Facebook. He helps me with stuff. He became interested about our dance competitions. Things he failed to do for a long time.

And to tell you honestly, I my self could not believe it. I never expected he's going to transform back to his old self. I'm really, really thankful to God that He answered my prayers.

From now onwards, I promise to take care of our friendship. I don't want lose him again. This is a chance of a lifetime, so I must do things right.

Happy Hurt's Day! I Mean, Hearts Day!

February 14, 2011
10:43AM

Hi there! I missed updating this blog. It's a quarter past 10 in the morning but I don't have classes anymore. I only have 2 classes to attend to every Monday; Principles of Management and Communication Skills 2.

I started my day by putting heavy eyeliners on because it's Valentines day and it is a dark occasion for me. And because people are supposed to celebrate Valentines day with someone, I decided to spend it with Mary Ellen — my porcelain doll. I took dark photos with her before I leave for school and put the best one as my mobile's wallpaper image.

And since Valentines day is always thought of with hearts and the color red, I decided to incorporate it to my outfit:

1. Avon Fashions Zoe panty in red.
2. I "heart" Comfort school shoes.
3. New Look bag which has a huge heart on it, and
4. Red, my voodoo doll given by my ex-bestfriend, Red Golpeo (I pinned the doll on my bag).

And so it's Valentines day. But really, I don't see anything special about this day. To me, it's just like any other ordinary days.

In my Communication Skill 2 class, Mr. Guinto asked me something out of nowhere. We were doing some seat works then, so everyone was silently concentrating on their stuff. So every single soul heard it when Mr. Guinto asked, "Tuesday, are go going out on a date with Ralph today?"

I was caught by surprise, I thought Mr. Guinto was so nosy. How on earth did he know about me and Ralph Jhonel. But I answered anyway.

"We're not going out on a date today or tomorrow or whenever. We're just not going out on a date at all. We are not okay at the moment."

He didn't give any follow-ups to that, and so it was over.

Man, how many people actually think Ralph Jhonel and I are okay?
How many think we are still the same? Valentines day is not a special day. It will never be an exception for the complications between me and Ralph Jhonel. He never showed himself up on Christmas season, what more on a lame occasion such as today?

JR's Birthday Crash — I mean, Bash!

January 10, 2011

08:06PM

The birthday boy, Bebe JR!

I swear to God, I can't remember the full details of what happened that night. And no matter how hard I try to recall, there's not much my mind can produce. Gah! It's frustrating. I swear to God, I can't remember the full details of what happened that night.

Below Zero president, JR Bondoc, celebrated his birthday last Saturday (his actual birthday is on the 13th). So we were invited, of course! I went to his place with Frankie and we drank Red Horse and sang at the videoke as soon as we got there. Everything went on smoothly — at first. We had dinner, all of us together. Some Below Zero dancers and other ABEnistas were there. I know JR was overjoyed to have us with him during his birthday bash. But at some point that night, I rained on the parade! Let us all groan!

Ok. I swear to God, I didn't mean to do what I did. Let me tell you what really happened, or at least those I remember.

I was talking to JR and Frankie outside and the next thing I knew, I already punched JR on his face. I was sure it wasn't just one blow, but I don't know how many to be precise. Were we fighting? Was I angry? Man, I don't really remember. I must've been too wasted.

So it was over, we went back inside and sat there with the others. I did not speak, neither did JR. Frankie was left oustide, crying. I looked at JR and I felt bad seeing the frown on his face. JR is such a sweet guy, and he's the last person I would want to hurt. But I was stupid, I hurt him physically and emotionally. It was his birthday celebration, for heaven's sake! It was supposed to be his happy day. But I've been an ass-hole and I ruined his special day. I swear to God, I didn't mean to do what I did.

The following day, I got the chance to apologize to him. Thank God for Facebook! He told me it's just okay, but I can't help but feel really stupid.

We had our cheerleading practice at Paombong earlier. Oh boy, I can't bring my self to look him in the eyes. But during lunch over at Jethro's place, I had the chance to talk to him a little about what happened. He told me I actually tried 5 punches, only that he managed to block the last 2 blows. I thought he was just exaggerating it, but that seems to be a fact. I didn't had the chance to know why I did it though, maybe I need to find the courage to ask about it some other time.

I swear to God, I really feel sorry for ever doing that bullshit. I want to make it up to him. Before we part ways earlier, he let me kiss him on the cheek. I really hope things are patched up, I promise I'm not going to be that stupid again. I swear to God, I really feel sorry for ever doing that bullshit.

New Year, New Members of the Family

January 1, 2011

11:22PM

Me and my cousins just had a little party tonight, that's why I'm a little tired. The best part was our Pinoy Henyo game. Man, was I so excited! Ate Che, my cousin, gave away Php100.00 pesos per correct answers, and I ended up with Php300.00. Yippie! But really, the most important thing that happened tonight is that we spent time together.

And if you think that things couldn't get any better, you're wrong. Just before Ate Shawi, my sister, went home, she made the biggest announcement. She's preggy! We're going to have a new family member. We were all overjoyed, it's a good news. Imagine that, the year has just started and yet our family already recieved such a huge blessing. I'm really excited for her. And the thought of having a new baby in the family excites me big time.

So to sum it up, we are going to have 3 new babies this year. Aside from Ate Shawi, there 2 other pregnant members in the Sucgang clan. Ate Karen, my cousin who lives in New York, announced last month that she's having a baby. And April, my cousin Kuya Nestle's wife, is now flaunting her big bump. Oh my God, the new generation of Sucgangs are starting to dominate this family. I'm starting to picture little kids running to and fro in our compound. I can't wait.

That's it for now, I'm really tired. I think I need to indulge my self in a cup of coffee and a bag of Oishi Ridges. Gotta go!
